5 gentlemen – all in their 70s – will be running a relay in the Standard Chartered 2018 Jersey Marathon to raise funds for Age Concern.

They are hoping that their achievement during the October marathon will qualify them for a Guinness World Record. The team consists of Sergio Da Silva (75), Dougie Smith (72), Bernie Arthur (70), Dr. Gilbert Blackwood (70) and Jonathan Mawson (70).

We wish them the best of luck with their relay and world record attempt, and thank them for their support!
